Where should I stay?

We recommend the two hotels on the World Equestrian Center property: The Equestrian Hotel and The Riding Academy Hotel (more info under the Hotel Info tab). There are also many other hotel options nearby. *If you’re flying in, we recommend arriving November 6th if possible. Early hotel check-in is not guaranteed on the day of the wedding.

What’s the best airport to use?

The closest airport to World Equestrian Center is the Gainesville Regional Airport (about an hour away). You may also fly into Tampa International Airport or the Orlando Airport (both about an hour and a half away)… Tampa International is recommended!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Our wedding ceremony will be at 4:00 p.m. Since the chapel is a short golf cart ride away, we ask that you allow plenty of time and are seated by 3:45 p.m.

Will there be transportation to the ceremony/reception?

All wedding events will take place on the World Equestrian Center property. If you’re staying at one of the two hotels on property, parking on site, or valeting, the ceremony is just a minute golf ride away! Golf carts will be provided for guests to and from the ceremony.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Our afternoon ceremony will take place inside the chapel. Cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception will take place on the Stirrups Terrace (which has a roof).

Will you be serving alcohol?

Yes! There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy our 3 signature cocktails and a variety of wine and beer options. There will also be many Coca-Cola products.

What type of food will be served?

Hors d’oeuvres and a sit down dinner will be served. When you RSVP, make sure you clearly state whether you want steak, chicken, or salmon. Additionally, there will be a salad and two sides. And of course, wedding cake!

Can I bring a plus one/my kids?

The name of every guest invited to attend will be clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.
